About the Ministry

Solid Rock Foundation Ministries of Pittsburgh is a Christ-centered ministry led by Bishop Linwood H. Lewis Jr., Pastor and Founder, committed to building lives upon the unshakable foundation of God’s Word. Rooted in biblical truth and empowered by the Holy Spirit, the ministry exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, develop mature believers, and demonstrate God’s love through service to the community.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God, and we affirm one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone, whose life, death, and resurrection reconcile humanity to God. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, believers are equipped to live holy lives, walk in spiritual authority, and serve as witnesses in the world.

At Solid Rock Foundation Ministries, our vision is to be a living organism where God’s people can grow spiritually, be restored through His Word, and have their needs met according to His will. We are called to show the lost the way to God, to train believers to live holy and victorious lives, and to be the hands of God’s love in action—both within the church and throughout the broader community.

Vision of the Church

The vision of Solid Rock Foundation Ministries of Pittsburgh is to be a living, Spirit-led church where lives are transformed through the power of God’s Word and the love of Jesus Christ. We exist to meet the spiritual and practical needs of God’s people while pointing the lost to the saving grace found in Christ alone.

Our mission is to create an environment where believers are taught, trained, and equipped to live holy, victorious lives, growing in faith and purpose through biblical teaching and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We are committed to restoring hearts, strengthening families, and developing disciples who reflect Christ in every area of life.

At Solid Rock Foundation Ministries, we believe the Church is called to be the hands of God’s love—actively serving, uplifting, and ministering to others both within the congregation and throughout the community. Through worship, prayer, outreach, and digital ministry, we seek to extend God’s compassion beyond the walls of the church and into everyday life.

Above all, our vision is to allow the Word of God to restore the Church back to Him—building a strong spiritual foundation that prepares believers not only for present purpose, but for eternal hope in Jesus Christ.
